About me
I would be delighted to treat English speaking patients. If you feel depressed, anxious, exhausted or simply at your wits end, I believe I can help you. Together we can find solutions for difficult decisions, solve professional and personal problems, and come to terms with bullying, mobbing and loneliness. As a qualified psychotherapist, I have long experience in logotherapy, a branch of existential therapy based on the precepts of Viktor Frankl, a Viennese neurologist and psychiatrist (as well as a Holocaust survivor). For me it is essential for the therapist to establish a rapport with the patient, to be able to listen and to see things from the patient’s point of view. Patients can expect the utmost discretion: everything that is discussed in my practice is of course absolutely confidential and will on no account be passed on to third parties, not even by accident.
What is Existential Therapy?
How to contact me
Existential therapy essentially is a psychotherapy that attempts to deal with an individual’s inner conflicts that arise from our confrontation with the givens of our environment. The therapeutic approach focuses on the meaning of life even in suffering and can be effective in the treatment of neurosis, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and schizophrenia, and can help alleviate the suffering of the terminally ill and trauma patients.
Please feel free to contact me for a free initial telephone contact on 06991 2118172. Further sessions (50 minutes) will be held against payment and can be partly refunded through health insurance and be booked online or by telephone. My address is Einwanggasse 23/11 in Vienna’s 14th district, which is very close to U4 Hietzing / Kennedybrücke.
